Case Study: Whidbey Young Professionals

The Whidbey Young Professionals group officially formed in 2021. The group formerly known as the Young Professionals of Whidbey, started as a small group meeting periodically to discuss how they could encourage and promote youthful, vibrant, enthusiastic leadership and involvement in the Whidbey Island community. What started as a simple logo and branding project turned into an ongoing awareness campaign complete with a website developed to highlight the group's mission, monthly event management, and the creation of a membership hub for young professionals on Whidbey Island.

Logo and Brand Creation

The Whidbey Young Professionals needed to showcase a modern, positive, and motivating look, starting with the logo. The new yellow and black logo was bold enough to show their pride and purpose yet simple enough to provide solace and professionalism within their community.  With the brand created, more content was formed for social media pages, weekly event promotion, press releases, and member communications.

Website Development

To complete their online presence, the WYP needed a website that could house information about the group and their regular events, highlight the mission in the community, and serve as a membership hub for young professionals on Whidbey Island.

Special Event Campaigns

The WYP hosted two main annual events that required designs for the entire campaign. The first was the WYP Summer Bash, the annual membership party that also served as a fundraiser for the group. The second was the Spring Vendor Market which served to promote small businesses in the community and encourage shopping local and supporting local artists in our community.
